AGROSKILLS STUDY CENTRE

According to the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization, Uganda’s fertile agricultural land has the potential to feed 200 million people. 80% of Uganda’s land is arable but only 35% is being cultivated. In FY 2021/22, agriculture accounted for about 24.1% of GDP, and 33% of export earnings. The UBOS estimates that about 70% of Uganda’s working population is employed in agriculture.

AGROSKILLS is embarking on a long term and sustainable project to establish model farms in Uganda to boost Agricultural tourism as well as act as training grounds for modern and high-tech Agriclture. Our partners across the globe are contributing immensely in equiping, skilling and enabling Ugandans and other trainees and this will be a 'home centre' of the same kind of experience while abroad. Learners, Trainees, Tourists will acquire a permit to visit the facilities aswell as stay, learn and enjoy the ambiance, the food, the guided tours and more. This project is rolling & starting. Officials from Uganda Investment Autholity are assessing our investment strategy and we will share more.
